In the second quarter of 2024, the delivered meal kits and specialty foods category on iOS witnessed varying trends in downloads and user engagement. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, gives us insight into how these apps are performing.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery saw a fluctuation in downloads, starting at 892K in the first week of April and peaking at 1.04M towards the end of May, before dipping to 657K by the end of June. Their weekly active users began at 19.75K and saw a decline to 18.49K over the quarter.

Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced a similar trend in downloads, with an initial count of 918K that decreased to 668K by the end of June. Revenue for Vivino varied, beginning at $1.99M and reaching a high of $3.04M in late April, then settling at $1.50M in the final week of June. Weekly active users started at 7.09K and decreased to 6K in the same period.

Green Chef: Healthy Recipes had the lowest numbers, with downloads peaking at 19K in late May and weekly active users showing a gradual increase from 68 to 85 through the quarter.
